  • Hospitality Operations, Event Set-Up and Cleaner - MIDNIGHT CREW

    Deer Creek Golf and Banquet Facility is comprised of 45 championship golf holes and a 50,000 square foot banquet facility. Deer Creek Banquet Facility is a fabulous facility that offers the right mix of elegance and beauty with a touch of extravagance. What makes our venue truly unique is its capacity – not only in size, but also in its ability to create the perfect atmosphere.

    Deer Creek is looking for a part time or full time Event Set-Up and Cleaner, working our midnight shift.

    Responsibilities to include…

    • Properly clean and set event rooms per specifications on the event orders or as given by management.
    • Perform daily cleaning duties including but not limited to: cleaning restrooms, sweeping and vacuuming floors, windows etc.
    • Ensure proper care, movement, storage of all equipment such as tables, chairs, risers etc..
    • On a continuous basis, keep service corridors, pre-function space, and storage areas clean, organized and unobstructed.
    • Recommend proper maintenance and repair to the management and ensure the proper housekeeping of all function space (as applicable).
    • Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Excellent people and communication skills. Must be proficient in English
    • Previous event/cleaning experience is an asset
    • Proven experience setting space in an event setting and demonstrated outstanding customer service.
    • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work independently, manage time and work well under pressure
    • Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time (which may include an entire shift)
    • Ability to push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
    • Must be able to work a variety of schedules including evenings, nights and weekends.

    Deer Creek is looking for a full time Event Set-Up and Cleaner, Lead; working our midnight shift.

    Responsibilities to include…

    • Lead our midnight cleaning (2-3 staff per day) and event set-up crew (3-4 staff per day).
    • Ensure the building is properly cleaned and rooms are set-up per specifications on the event orders or as given by management.
    • Perform daily cleaning duties including but not limited to: cleaning restrooms, sweeping and vacuuming floors, windows etc.
    • Review weekly schedule created by the management to ensure proper coverage for both cleaning and set-up teams are maintained. Maintain staffing levels and provide monthly staff reviews to management.
    • Ensure proper care, movement, storage of all equipment such as tables, chairs, risers etc..
    • On a continuous basis, keep service corridors, pre-function space, and storage areas clean, organized and unobstructed.
    • Recommend proper maintenance and repair to the management and ensure the proper housekeeping of all function space (as applicable).
    • Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Two years’ experience in leadership role within an event facility.
    • Excellent people and communication skills. Must be proficient in English
    • Proven experience setting space in an event setting and demonstrated outstanding customer service.
    • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work independently, manage time and work well under pressure
    • Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time (which may include an entire shift)

    Responsibilities to include…

    • Ensure all rooms are set-up and cleaned properly by our midnight crew before clients and guest arrive on site.
    • Make any set-up changes the client requests the day of.
    • During events perform cleaning duties including but not limited to: cleaning restrooms, sweeping and vacuuming floors, windows etc…
    • Ensure all audio-visual equipment ordered by our clients are set-up and monitored throughout the event.
    • Ensure proper care, movement, storage of all equipment such as tables, chairs, risers etc..
    • On a continuous basis, keep service corridors, pre-function space, and storage areas clean, organized and unobstructed.
    • Recommend proper maintenance and repair to the management and ensure the proper housekeeping of all function space (as applicable).
    • Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • MUST have experience with audio visual equipment in an event venue (speakers, microphones, screen and projector etc..)
    • Excellent people and communication skills. Must be proficient in English
